The Santa Clarita Valley has grown from a bedroom community into one of Los Angeles County’s most important employment centers. The Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation targets aerospace and defense, bioscience and medical devices, advanced manufacturing, digital media, IT and corporate headquarters, and its 2024 employer update showed medical devices with the largest increase and the highest wages.
Princess Cruises, Woodward, Boston Scientific and Advanced Bionics are among the largest private employers. Sunkist, Logix and Vallarta Supermarkets keep their headquarters here. Much of that work happens in the Valencia Commerce Center, the Valencia Industrial Center and Centre Pointe, together more than 20 million square feet of industrial and commercial space.
